PENDING VOTES

EXPLANATION:Throughout the nearly five months of a General Assembly session, there will be hundreds of bills brought to the Senate Chamber for votes.

Many of these bills present difficult votes. I want to make what I consider to be the better choice for District 8 and Tennessee on every vote. In our form of government, I am always aware that I cast a vote for approximately 200,000 persons in Blount and Sevier Counties. The more input from constituents I receive, the more confidently I can vote on behalf of my constituents. Please let me know your views!

SCHEDULE: The Senate usually meets on Monday afternoons, Wednesday afternoons, and Thursday mornings (typically at 5:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 9:00 am Central time, respectively). I will try my best to post bills as far in advance of actual floor votes as possible.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY: I want to know your views:

  • If you wish to inform me of your views on issues of importance to you, please bookmark your PC now with this Website (www.finneylistens.com).
  • Check daily while the General Assembly is in session for newly posted bills.
  • Using the following online voting format, let me know your preference on all bills that interest you. (Please express your preference only once on each bill. I will disregard a duplicate vote on the same bill.)

GENERAL ASSEMBLY VOTING HAS NOW CLOSED FOR 2006.
PLEASE RETURN IN JANUARY 2007 TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS POLL.
THANK YOU!
